One thing that I wanted to start doing for awhile now on this blog are reviews of common health/fitness/nutrition products on the web.
I know there is a lot of “stuff” out there and to be honest it can be a little bit overwhelming. If your like me, when I first starting studying nutrition online there’s a lot of unanswered questions going through your head.
- What books are the most accurate?
- What programs are good for building muscle?
- How do I know if this person knows that they are talking about
- Is eating this and that really healthy?
- How do I lose weight?
These are just a few questions that you might be searching for answers to. Unfortunately there’s a lot of stuff online regarding health and nutrition and it all conflicts itself. It seems that everyone is doing there own diet and claiming that its the best thing out there.
Because of all of this conflicting information I understand that if you are a beginner you are probably really confused. I know from personal experience that reviews were a good way for me to determine if a product was actually worth buying.
This is why I am going to start doing reviews of various products online to help you determine what is actually good and what you shouldn’t waste your money on. Today I am going to be reviewing a book called The All Day Fat Burning Diet by Yuri Elkaim.
The All Day Fat Burning Diet
Yuri is someone who I came across online a long time ago. He is definitely one of the founding members of the raw food movement which encourages eating more plant based foods in their natural raw state.
I learned a lot of Yuri and I highly recommend you check out his stuff because he really knows what hes doing when it comes to losing weight in a sustainable way.
The All Day Fat Burning Diet is Yuri Elkaim’s latest book. I purchased this book when it first came out a little while back and I still read it today, mostly for the recipes the book provides.
This book starts off by explaining why people are overweight, stressed, and worn out from modern day living. Too much sugar, fat, toxicity and stress is emphasized as being the cause of obesity around the world, which I do agree with.
After educating the reader on what causes weight gain the book then has a 21 day meal plan for you to follow as well as a basic workout routine to follow. The meal plans are amazing, taste great, and are really simple to make. I believe that if anyone was to follow this diet you would surely lose weight over time.
The main thing I really do like about this book is that it’s not complicated. It’s pretty straightforward and to the point. The only downside is that the book lacks a certain visual appeal.
There are no pictures in the book and reading through the All Day Fat Burning Diet can feel a little bit bland.
Other that minor complaint the book is definitely worth a read even for the recipes alone.
I’m a huge fan of Yuri’s work he has done online over the years so of course I’m going to recommend his work.
This book I highly recommend for anyone who wants a simple meal plan to follow to help you along the path to weight loss. If you want to give it a go you can grab The All Day Fat Burning Diet from Amazon by clicking here.
I hope you enjoyed this short review and stay tuned for many more to come on this blog!
