Fruit Has A lot of Sugar
Now although sugar found in fruit is a little bit different then processed sugars found in junk foods its still sugar nonetheless. If you are putting high amounts of sugar into your body, even if it is the good kind, you are still going to get some negative effects from it.
Because of the fiber that is found in fruit in moderation fruit is perfectly fine and part of a healthy diet. Nonetheless if you can reduce your fruit intake and spread it out over the course of a whole day you will be much better off.

That all said and done adding a few greens to a normal fruit smoothie can help you transition into healthier smoothies.
