It’s bright and early here in the morning and today I’ve decided to share a great tasting green smoothie recipe that I just know you will just love.
This recipe is super easy and doesn’t require a heck of a lot of ingredients. This Apple and Banana green smoothie will surely get your day off to a great start! I’m sitting here drinking my smoothie as I write this post and I can already tell today is going to be a good day.
Everyday is a good day when you start it off with a green smoothie.
- 1 apple
- 1 banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 teaspoon of organic honey
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
This banana and apple green smoothie tastes very sweet yet has all the good stuff you can expect from a green smoothie that is meant to help you lose weight and feel more alive. The apple and banana combine together to form a nice sweetness which helps bring out the taste of the smoothie as well as provide you with your much needed sugars to energize you throughout the day. This tastes so good that you probably wouldn’t even guess there was a cup of spinach hidden in there.
For this recipe I also use almond milk and hemp seeds to help sneak in some healthy fats as well as add that nice crunchy yet smooth texture to the smoothie. Lastly I’ve added a little bit of honey if you want more sweetness but if you like you an omit the honey if you find its just too much.
